Dylan is Latine actor, singer, dancer, and choreographer from The Bronx, New York. They are a 4th-year student at Boston University's College of Fine Arts-- obtaining a BFA in Theatre Arts Performance with a minor in Dance. They are additionally an alumni of Rosie's Theatre Kids/Professional Performing Arts School-- a NYC performing arts high school-- as well as Interlochen Arts' Musical Theatre Department.
Their artistic vision is grounded in the power of storytelling through movement, voice, and character-- deeply committed to exploring how identity is shaped and expressed on stage, and how to utilize the expansion of performance to bring these stories to life. Whether it be performing, choreographing, or devising a new work, Dylan seeks to create dynamic, layered performances that resonate with both the body and the soul.
Choreography and Movement Direction
As a choreographer-- Dylan is especially interested in deconstructing the form of dance, and assess how energetic and pure movement can inform their choreographic processes. Having an extensive background in jazz, modern and physical theatre-- they are confident in crafting physical stories that speak directly to using the body as a vessel to convey complex emotions and narratives.
Dylan aims to elevate stories that explore the tensions of identity, culture, and society, while celebrating the beauty of individuality— contributing to an artistic landscape that embraces diversity, innovation, and the transformative power of art.
